Radius dishes can be found in the shops of most acoustic guitar luthiers. They are used when gluing braces with either a go-bar deck or vacuum clamping system to give the top or back the desired radius. Sanding dishes are used for sanding the rim in preparation for gluing the top and back. Round dishes have a 23.75" diameter.
Both dishes comes with a high-quality 50-grit sandpaper installed. Optional 60-grit paper is available at no extra charge, and is recommended for 12' radius and steeper.
Dishes are available in the following radii: 12, 15, 16, 20, 22, 25, 28, 30, 40, 50.
As of spring 2023 our turn around time on dish orders is approximately 2 weeks, although it may be a bit longer depending on order volume.
