Mahogany, Honduras (Swietenia macrophylla)

We are excited to team up with Hibdon Hardwood of St. Louis, Missouri, in bringing quality instrument wood to the Canadian market. Hibdon has over 30 years of experience supplying various hardwoods to the luthier community. 

Tightened CITES restrictions have made it difficult for luthiers in some countries to import/export certain exotic woods. We work with Hibdon to ensure that all paperwork is filed and inspections are done to legally import such woods into Canada. We look forward to offering a steady supply of Mahogany and other tonewoods to Canadian builders.

Due to CITES restrictions on Honduran Mahogany, we are only able to offer it to Canadian customers. All inquiries outside Canada are directed to Hibdon Hardwood.
